BDP Change of Service

Beckwith Decor Products will be moving and updating our servers, Friday 2/19/16 thru to Sunday 2/21/16.

My Zt is out of soft limit

I tried setting my parameter setting and my Zt has gone out of soft limit. I was told to select menu....machine parameter setting....pulse....X 160 Y160. Z320 and A360. after doing all this it said Zt is lut of soft limit.

I am using a DSP handle. can someone please help me to set back my machine.

Make a 3D printable mesh from assembly

Hi All!

Is it possible to make a 3D printable (closed, without any intersected volume) mesh from assembly?

If I made some assembly parts that intersect togother and export it to STL, the exported file
contains some intersected volume what is not acceptable for 3D printers.
Do we have any method to solve this problem.

Any help welcome!

computer upgrade- art files won't open

I figured it out, I installed from the original disc which was 2011, but models created in 2012 wouldn't open. Went to artcam download site and installed 2012 version and it works

PAF file error

I have purchased ArtCam Express, during the installation I am facing issue as:

Error: PAF Error = 4 Line = 8191

installed the application, plugged in USB dongle and tried to run ArtCAM, but I receive this error: PAF Error = 4 Line = 8191

I am installing it on my desktop with configuration as:
Processor: i3
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 7 32-bit

Pls, Help me.

:?: Hi I have just purchased the download only version of ArtCam Express. Thought Id open and and have a play with the 600+ cliparts, put I've only got the 10 which are the demo ones that came with it, nothing has changed between the full version and the demo??

I also clicked on the 3d view and it still coame up with 2d. What is going on?

Do I need to download the other clip arts from somewhere?

Bit confused :-/

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me :-)

Thinking of buying Artcam Express

You have a smart husband 8) , always remember that and give him the due. If you purchase the box option you will get a dongle that you can plug into any pc that has a usb plugin, this is a security key for artcam, you will be able to have artcam on one, two, three or more computers, one goes on the fritzzzt install artcam on another install your license, plug in your dongle (all is right in the world, ahhhhhh :D ) now for the downer, if you purchase the download one and your pc goes belly up, you're out the pc and artcam (total downer).

Like I said your hubbies a smart one follow his advice.

Hi Danielle,

Please confirm whether you installed the full Relief Clipart Library using the following steps:

(1) Shut down ArtCAM Express.
(2) Visit the Delcam Customer Download Centre.
(3) Enter your virtual dongle number and registered email address, then click Submit. A Customer Verification email is sent to your registered email address.
(4) Click the link included in the Customer Verification email to access the Delcam Customer Download Centre.
(5) Click the ArtCAM link in the site's left column to display the customer downloads for ArtCAM.
(6) Click the ArtCAM 2015 DL - Clipart Pack link and download the SetupArtCAMReliefClipartPack.exe file.
(7) Right-click the downloaded SetupArtCAMReliefClipartPack.exe file, then select the Run as administrator context menu option.
(8) Restart ArtCAM Express.

Purchasing download-only ArtCAM software

You can only use ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 (Download Only) on the computer from which the software was purchased through our Online Store, or activated using a supplied single-use code. Your ELF Licence file (WSC00729-01P.elf) is not compatible with any other computer.

Therefore, if you would like to install ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 on a new computer, you have two options:

The upgrade from ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 (Download Only) to ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 (Boxed) cannot be purchased through our Online Store; it must be processed manually by a Delcam Sales Representative. The price of upgrading from ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 (Download Only) to ArtCAM Express 2015 R2 (Boxed) is £30, plus shipping. This option would be more suitable if you want the freedom to move between different computers, as and when necessary. If you want to proceed, please confirm by email to online-support@artcam.com your contact number and suggest a time and date on which it would be convenient to contact you; a Delcam Sales Representative will contact you in order to complete the order.

Detail lost when .obj file imported into Artcam

Richard,

Why in the world would you put all the work done in artcam into blender???? With artcam you can do your models make whatever you want then do a toolpath, you will get everything you want.

Why didn't you have the subcontractor do everything including the toolpath?? Revisit him and have the controller name of the cnc and have the toolpath made. Then cut out.

(7) Extract the downloaded ArtCAM_2015.813.Full.zip file on your computer using 7-Zip or WinRAR.
(8) In the extracted ArtCAM_2015.813.Full folder, right-click the Setup.exe file and select the Run as administrator context menu option to install ArtCAM Pro 2015 R2 (64-bit build 813). Allow the installation process to complete.
(9) Right-click the downloaded ArtCAM_2015.830.Minimal.exe file and select the Run as administrator context menu option to install ArtCAM Pro 2015 R2.SP1 (64-bit build 830).
