Got it Dillon: So from Viktors tutorial that means the step missed in Preshants short video is reversing the image by using the Scale relief tool in Basic Express rather than the Invert z tool in Higher versions. A neat work-around!
That should give JCraft all the info he needs. Nice that Express can do this.
As an added bit I have found that when using a 1/4" piece of Corian, setting the model to leave around .04 to .06" at the bottom and making my z height when bringing in the image as a relief around .16 gives a nice litho. Bit selection (either 1/8 or 1/16 ballnose with 6-10% stepover depending on size and detail of the object) and toolpath strategy varies.
